Mrs. Liliane Wynaendts MD PhD, pathologist St. Antonius (Nieuwegein)

Liliane Wynaendts studied Medicine at the University of Leiden where she graduated cum laude in 1991. During her studies she performed scientific research at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital in Paris. From 1991 she worked on a PhD research at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, which was completed with the defense of the thesis "Rhabdomyosaroma, classification, prognostic factors, celbiological aspects". She then followed the course of 1999 as a clinical pathologist at the VU Medical Center in Amsterdam.

From 1999 to 2009 she worked as a staff member at the VU medical center with a special focus on pediatric pathology (pediatric and fetal pathology) and dermatopathology.

From 2009 she worked in the Diakonessenhuis as a general clinical pathologist with a specific focus on dermatopathology and pediatric pathology. She was a deputy trainer.

She has been working as a pathologist at the Nieuwegein location since 2018 and is part of Pathology DNA B.V.
