Mrs. Marcory van Dijk MD, PhD pathologist (Arnhem) 

“Pathology is about observation and communication.”

Marcory van Dijk (1970) was trained at the St. Radboud University Medical Center Nijmegen. Before and during her training she did scientific research culminating her thesis entitled “Genetic alterations in melanocytic lesions-towards the diagnostic use of molecular genetic analysis” in 2006. Upon finishing her education she worked in the University Medical Center Groningen in her fields of interest of Nephropathology, Perinatal Pathology and Neuropathology (pathology of muscle disorders and developmental pathology of the brain in particular), Ophtalmo Pathology, Hepatopathology and Transplantation pathology of the kidney and liver. In addition, as a pathologist, she was responsible for ICT. Since 2013 she has been working as a pathologist at the Rijnstate location.
