Dr. Mihaela Raicu, Chef de Clinique (Nieuwegein)

Mihaela Raicu (1981) has been working as an allround pathologist in the St. Antonius hospital since April 2015. It is her ambition to further specialize in gynecopathology, cytopathology and gastro-intestinal pathology. She has studied Medicine at the University of Bukarest, Roumaia. In 2007, after her study, she came to the Netherlands to do research at the Department of Cardiology of the University of Utrecht. She got her PhD on studies for the development of biomarkers for early detection of atherosclerosis and instable plaque formation in 2010. Afterwards, she got her training in Pathology at the University of Utrecht.
