Ingrid Vogelaar studied Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University. In addition to her studies, she started her PhD research about hereditary stomach and intestinal cancer in 2010 at the Genetics department of the Radboudumc/Radboud University in Nijmegen. After completing her PhD in 2015, Ingrid started to work in the US as a postdoc at Stanford University. She returned to the Netherlands in 2018, where she started the KMBP study programme at the Radboudumc and Pathologie-DNA. Since graduating in October 2020, Ingrid now works as a KMBP at Pathologie-DNA.
