Rob Koot gained experience doing pathology research (urine bladder) at the VUmc (Amsterdam) and the Reinier de Graaff hospital (Delft). He completed his pathologist training at the Radboudumc (Nijmegen). He then gained practical experience at different hospitals in Zeeland (Vlissingen, Goes, and Terneuzen). Rob Koot started at Rijnstate's Pathology partnership in 1999. There he mainly focuses on one of the participating hospitals, the Slingeland hospital in Doetinchem.
